Los Angeles, CA –November 15, 2006— Over 300 Latino micro-enterprises are expected to attend the third “Su Socio De Negocios” business seminar presented by El Clasificado to serve the needs of Latino entrepreneurs seeking access to information and technology in Spanish, to help them run their businesses more effectively. Together with this small business seminar to be held on November 16 at Santa Ana’s Delhi Center, El Clasificado is launching www.susociodenegocios.com, a web site that provides ongoing support to small businesses that seek business-related information and services in Spanish. The site is also available in English to serve the wide need of Latino entrepreneurs. Attendees will benefit from a special presentation by Loyola Marymount University’s Small Business Development Center that will cover the basic principles of starting a small business. In addition, guests will receive live demonstrations and the most up-to-date information on technological products and applications designed to help emerging small businesses. “Hispanic market-focused small businesses have unique needs that oftentimes go unmet due to the language barrier,” said Martha de la Torre, Publisher and CEO of El Clasificado. “We hope that our ‘Su Socio de Negocios’ seminars help many overcome that obstacle by providing free access to helpful resources for Spanish-speaking business owners.” Guests will enjoy informative presentations as well as music, appetizers and will participate in various raffles throughout the evening for a chance to win a laptop computer, an iPod and a BlackBerry. Proud sponsors joining El Clasificado’s “Su Socio de Negocios” seminar series are AT&T; Aflac; Sprint; ERIX Information Technology; Health Net; Washington Mutual; Blue Cross; Cingular Wireless; Social Security Administration (SSA); The Business Coach; Comerica Bank; Seminars in Spanish; United States Postal Service (USPS); The Certified Credit Union; SBDC Loyola Marymount University; and the Orange County Presidents Council (OCPC) and Al Borde, El Clasificado’s sister publication.
